Selma Lagerlof - Jerusalem First Hebrew edition 1921
The famous Swedish writer Selma Lagerlaf (1858-1940), Nobel Prize laureate and author of the book "The Miracle Journey of Little Niels Holgerson with the Wild Goose," was in Jerusalem at the end of the nineteenth century. She became acquainted with her Swedish people, who joined the American colony in 1896 and wrote a fascinating novel about them, describing their experiences in the village of their birth in Dalarna, Sweden, and later in Jerusalem. The book, which is widely distributed in tens of thousands of copies, was translated into Hebrew in 1921
