Pertaining to a dispute which erupted in the Corfu congregation regarding the custom of reciting the Shema according to musical notes accompanied with a choir; this spurred a polemic and many of the scholars of the generation were called to express their opinion. Approbations and rulings by many rabbis, including scholars of Jerusalem such as Rabbi Raphael Yitzchak Zerachia Azulai - father of the Chida, Rabbi Ya'akov Algazi and others.
