Chiber L'Taharah, by Rabbi Mordechai Twersky of Hornosteipel. Berdichev, 1898. Only Edition.
Chiber L'Taharah - important composition "about purity of the body and purity of the hands" by the patriarch of the Hornosteipel dynasty, the Admo"r Rabbi Mordechai Dov Twersky.
Comprised of two parts - Part I is Klei Berachah - an elucidation on the Shulchan Aruch, Ta"z and Magen Avraham, hilchot netilat yadayim. Part II is Mikveh Yisrael on the halachahs of mikvehs, which anthologizes all the opinions brought by the Beit Yosef, and with this, he elucidates the words of the Shulchan Aruch, the Ta"z and the Sha"ch.
Owner's stamp of Rabbi Shaul DovBer Zisslin (1881-1924), rabbi of Orsha, on the title page. He was one of the important rabbis of Chaba"d, one of the elder influential Chassidim in the Land of Israel, and one of the founders of Agudat Chassidei Chaba"d B'Eretz Yisrael.
The Admo"r Rabbi Mordechai Dov Twerski (1840-1903), patriarch of the Hornosteipel Chassidic dynasty, was the grandson of Rabbi Yisrael of Cherkes, son of the maggid of Chernobyl. Rabbi Mordechai Dov was the son-in-law of the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Due to his great humility, he published this book anonymously.
