Israeli War of Independence Shovel and Canteen, First Days of Tzahal - Given in appreciation and assistance along with weapons and equipment by the US Government for the resurrection of Israel.
On the shovel the inscribed signature of the year "1944". Given inside a special tarpaulin canvas cover. Signed u.s. and a seal with the first Hebrew letter of the word "Tzahal" is minted on the canvas.
The canteen is coated in military green enamel, green felt protection coating. Lacks cover cork.
