Christian Pocket Watch Made of Silver and Porcelain, 19th Century
Silver pocket watch decorated with handcrafted engraving on its entire perimeter, front decorated with a porcelain face with the figure of Christ on the Cross. Back made in delicate and precise openwork.
Original key in the shape of a hand holding a hanging rope.
Europe (Italy ? ), end of 19th century.
Porcelain and enamel face, Roman numerics, tickers in a flashing blue color (fading to the color).
2 exterior lids, and another inner lid for securing the mechainsm.
Condition: very good.
Functionality of mechanism unknown.
