Group of [3] EretzYisraeli photographs by Walter Zadek. Land of Israel, Mandate era. All the photographs bear the ink stamp of Photo Zadek in Tel Aviv.

Walter Zadek [1900-1992] was born in Berlin and ascended to the Land of Israel in 1933. He began working as an independent press photographer using a Leica camera, without any formal training in photography. Due to an old riding accident in Germany, Zadek used his left hand almost exclusively for photography. Zadek's photographs are characterized by their clean composition, and toying with light and shadow. They are occasionally staged in the spirit of 'new photography' which was widespread among EretzYisraeli photographers in the 1930s.
Overall very fine condition.
