Yam shel Shlomo on Tractate Yevamot by Rabbeinu Slomo Luria - the Maharsha"l. Altona, 1740. First edition. The title page bears the signature of Rabbi Eliezer Fleklesh of Prague, author of Teshuvah MeAhavah.


Rabbi Eliezer Fleklesh [1754-1826] was one of the most prominent disciples of the Noda BiYehudah. He was one of the rabbinic leaders of his generation, expert adjudicator, renowned rosh yeshivah and sermonizer, he served dozens of years as Ra"avad of Prague. His is known for his work Shu"t Teshuvah MeAhavah [in three parts] and other works.


[3], 2-93 leaves. Magnificent engraving on the title page. New binding with gilt imprint indicating the important signature.

Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 64. Moderate-fine condition, worming perforations in the inner margins.


Bound with: Yam shel Shlomo on Tractate Chulin. Offenbach, 1818. The final three leaves are lacking.
