Semenov Arseny Nikiforovich (1911, village of Maksimovo, Vitebsk province - 1992, St. Petersburg). 

Since 1926 in Leningrad he studied at the AHRR studio with A.R. Eberling. From 1944 to 1947 taught at the Moscow Art Institute. Since 1946, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1947, member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. Since 1939, he has been a regular participant in art exhibitions. Since 1947 he taught at the School named after. V. Mukhina. In 1951 he graduated from the Institute. I.E. Repin, where he studied with A.A. Osmerkin and D.N. Kardovsky. A personal exhibition took place in 1966 in Leningrad. The artist’s works are in many museums in St. Petersburg, regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
