According to eyewitnesses, in the village of Dubrovka, in 1942, the Nazis shot many captured Soviet soldiers. The villagers buried them in the center of the village, thus creating a mass grave. A small, modest monument was erected on the grave. Grave graves from single and small mass graves in the localities of Kolchevka, krasnogorye, Rechitsa, and Rote Fane were moved to this grave in 1955-1956. In 1969, the burial mound was reconstructed and a new monument was installed. A full-length sculpture of a soldier is mounted on a three-stage pedestal made of brick and concrete. There is a flower garden at the foot of the grave hill. The territory of the grave is surrounded by a metal fence. In total, 805 soldiers are buried in the grave.
