The famed holy Rav Rabbi Moshe David ben Rabbi Asher Anschel Ashkenazi of Toltshov (1774-1856) Av Beis Din of Toltshov for forty years. In 1843, immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and served as rav and Rosh Av beis Din of Safed. Author of Toldot Adam on the Shas and Be'er Sheva of the Torah. The in-law of the Yitav Lev of Siget.
