Darkei Teshuva on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah, section II of Hilchot Shechita and Treifot, by the holy Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Shapiro of Munkatch. Vilna, 1893.
Copy of his leading disciple the holy Gaon Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein Av Beit Din of Snina and son-in-law of the famed rabbi Yeshayaleh of Kerestir. Close to a hundred lengthy glosses handwritten by him.
Most of the glosses describe a 'case that I was introduced to me' as a leading Moreh Hora'ah.
It is interesting to note that many of the cases were rendered Kosher by Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein.
The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein (1884-1942) the son of Rabbi Zvi Dov Klein, the leader of the Munkatch community and son-in-law of the famed Rav Rabbi Yeshaya of Kerestir. Since 1910, was Rav of Snina. Headed a large, important yeshiva. Perished in the Holocaust with his family. His book Mateh Reuven survived the war in Europe.
