A very nice German edition of Sholem Aleichem's classic book. With several dozen illustrations by Anatoli Lvovich Kaplan, a Russian-Jewish artist known mainly for his work in printmaking and engraving. The illustrations are in black and white, printed on quality paper, and most of them span a whole page. Given in a cardboard box. hard cover.
German, 166 pp., 31x21 cm. The dust-jacket is torn along the spine, the book is in good condition.
