Amédée Ozenfant (1886-1966) was a French writer and painter who specialized in the Cubist style. In 1928 he published this book, which reviews the history of modern art. This is a rare first edition of the book, which includes texts on painting, literature, music, sculpture, philosophy and architecture. Reproductions of Picasso, Miro, Cézanne, Duchamp, Ernst and many more. The book is re-bound in hardcover - with the original cover still inside on both sides.
