Uri Zivoni (1893-1933) was a painter born in Poland who immigrated to Israel in 1913 to study at Bezalel. He served in the Turkish army in World War I and then moved to Tel Aviv and worked as a sign painter. Zivoni is a forgotten artist who painted beautiful paintings and exhibited alongside artists such as Ziona Tagger and Reuven Rubin. It is rare to find one of his paintings.
