The yearbook of the Haskalah movement, founder: poet Shalom HaCohen. Published in Vienna, by Anton Schmid.
Journal of the Jewish Enlightenment movement, during the period of activity in Austria and Galicia. Published between 1820-1831 The journal played a central role in the revival of the Hebrew language.
This lot includes ten volumes of yearbooks between the year 1820 and 1831 (missing only the year 1823). In addition: two pages in which are a message in Yiddish about the publication of the yearbook. Texts in Hebrew and German in Hebrew letters.
The volumes are in good condition.
