Kiltartan - Rare Avant-Garde Collection - 1964
Kiltartan, a one-time publication, published by Kiltartan Cooperative, 1964. Edited by Maxim Gilan.
A one-off poetry fanzine published in Tel Aviv in the sixties and printed in only a few hundred copies. Inside a cardboard folder with a serrated cutout at the front, black ribbon and a red wax seal, pages of different types and sizes were bound together. Included: poems by twenty-year-old Yona Wallach, an autobiography by Yosef Mundi, a conversation with Yitzhak Danziger, poems by Yair Horvitz, a letter from the editors of Kiltartan to the editors of "Now" and "Yochni" and the Writers' Association in Israel, "A script proposal for a Hebrew film" by Meir Wieseltier, The story "Alice in the Land of Architecture", and many other texts and images, among others by Natan Zach and Dafna Erod.
35x25 cm. Good overall condition: rust stains, wear on the first few pages, small pen scribble on the cover.
