Bialik - Beautiful Letter Sent to David Shimoni from Berlin - 1921

Written on official paper from the "Moriah" publishing house in Berlin. The letter opens thus: "I was happy to hear your voice from a place I had not expected - from Rehovot". At the end he signs: "I will not go to America. If God is with me, I may go to Palestine for the Mitzvot hollyday - in order to return. Yours with love, H.N. Bialik". Below is Bialik's address in Berlin, and another signature in English.

Given in an envelope from the "Moriah" publishing house, with addresses, stamps and postmarks from Charlottenburg, Berlin.

Good condition, some wear.


Provenance: David Shimoni's estate.
