Antisemitism - The Modern Jew, 1899

First Edition, 1899

The Modern Jew by Arbold White. William Heinemann, London, 1899.

This book, that its author is a renowned promoter of antisemitism, discusses the state of the Jews in different places in the world. its purpose is to show the Jews' inability to integrate in society. includes data, tables, speeches, newspaper articles for and against the Jews and the antisemitism in the following countries: Russia, Austria, USA, France, England and the Argentinian Colonies. the book reviews the connection between Judaism and money-lending; the pro-Jewish newpaper - "Darkest Russia"; with discussion about converting the Jews, the Zionist movement, and the question of the Jewish humor. at the conclusion of the book the author offers solutions to the Jewish problem, such as sending the Jews to live with the Armenians in Turkey or in the English colonies in Argentina.

From the book: "russians would have no chance of survival against the cold determination of a people that exists only when living as a parasitic growth on another race.", "The day is not far off when the wealth of the world will belong exclusively to the jews."

Medium condition. some damage on the spine of the book and minor pencil marks on the papers (almost unnoticeable). in the end of the book there are 3 pages of pen writings, mostly unintelligible.
