Nili: "Netzach Yisrael Lo Ishakach" (Samuel I, Chapter 15, verse 29) is an underground organization established in 1915 and active in the Yishuv in Eretz Israel during World War I. At its peak the organization numbered less than 30 active members focused on the provision of intelligence services to the Egyptian Expeditionary Force - the British force that fought against the Ottoman Empire in the campaign against Sinai and the Land of Israel in order to leverage an intelligence link into a political asset In addition to espionage, Nili also engaged in smuggling money from abroad to the economy of the Yishuv, and after two years of activity the Ottomans uncovered the underground. After the Nili organization was exposed, the Ottomans punished and imprisoned many people who had nothing to do with its activities.
