2 letters - Nazi Germany, 1944-1945.
With the stamp of the symbol of Nazi Germany.
Conditions; Very Good.
Coat of arms of the Reich, standing over a swastika in the shape of a laurel and looking up to his right.
Despite its medieval origins, the term Reichsadler is mainly associated with the period of Nazi Germany. In 1933 the Nazis took over the symbol of the Weimar Republic, the Imperial Eagle, and added the swastika and the laurel. In 1935, he became the national symbol of the Third Reich (Hoheitszeichen) in Adolf Hitler's decree.
The Nazi party used a very similar symbol, the "Party Eagle" (Parteiadler). The difference between them is the direction of the eagle's gaze (you can see the differences here). The sight of the eagle was of particular importance. According to the most popular theory, the party eagle represents the "back" of the imperial eagle. In view of the totalitarian concept and the principle of leadership of the Nazi regime, the party eagle and the Reich eagle are symbolically represented by two halves: the party and the state. Accordingly, they both united under the image of the Fiihrer, during the Gleichschaltung.
