Rabbi Shlomo David Kahana (1869 - 1953) was a Polish rabbi of Lithuanian descent, Rabbi of Warsaw, the Ashkenazi Rabbi of the Jewish Quarter until the fall of the Quarter in 1948, and at the end of his life in West Jerusalem. Was known primarily for his efforts to free the agunot of the First World War and the agonies of World War II.
