בשער כיתוב מרבי שמחה בונים דוד סופר שהספר התקבל מבן המחבר (רבי חיים אהרן דוד דייטש) רבה של יארמוט.
רבי שמחה בונים דוד [תער״ב - תשמ"ח] – בן רבי שמואל בנימין הנ"ל - מגדולי התלמידי חכמים בירושלים, כיהן כרב בית המדרש זכרון ישראל (זופניק) בירושלים.
