The Gaon Hakabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri - a great genius in the revealed and hidden, and "the elders of the Kabbalists." He was known for his sanctity and his righteousness and for his masterpieces. He was born in the late 1890's in Iraq, and as a child he saw and knew the Ben Ish Chai, received Torah and Kabbalah from the sages of Iraq and the scholars of Jerusalem, to which he immigrated in 1922. In his early years in Jerusalem he made a living by binding books. He studied at the Beit El and Porat Yosef yeshivas in the Old City. Over the years, his wisdom became famous in the wisdom of the secret, and many went to his house to receive his blessing and advice and to receive talismans. He died at a ripe old age at the age of over one hundred in 2005, and his funeral was attended by tens of thousands of people of Israel.
