A folded letter sent from the Oflag VIIA Murnau prisoner-of-war camp by Major doctor Władysław Suwalski to his son Zygmunt imprisoned in the Berlin Alt Moabit prisonAlt Moabit detention prison.There were hundreds of Poles in this torture chamber, mainly political prisoners, brought from various prisons in the General Government. Fugitives from POW camps and from forced labor in Germany were also kept there. Most of them were people arrested for participating in intelligence services for the coalition states and for practicing anti-Nazi propaganda. The sentence awaiting trial was held in prison
