Deutschland" Standarte SS-Kaserne München-Freimann
Photo of a German prison with a description on the back that says: "The house of Sing-Sing, the biggest prison in Germany". This the famous "Deutschland" Standarte SS-Kaserne München-Freimann in Munich, which is now the Medical Academy of the German Army. Shot taken from the inside square in the Kaserne, the main entrance is near the main tower. I have dozen of SS postcards from this Kaserne. ^_^In 1945, the SS barracks were used for deplaced persons.https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernst-von-Bergmann-KaserneIt never was a prison, maybe it is an ironic quote about the deplaced persons in 1945 ?
