Specifications: 4, 12; 89 [should be: 189], [1] leaf, 38 cm (!).

Background: The author, Rabbi Moshe Leib Zilberberg, one of the great rabbis of Poland, born in Luntschitz in 1794, served as rabbi of several congregations and finally of Kutno. In 1857, he left the rabbinate and immigrated to Jerusalem. He was one of the great rabbis of Jerusalem and one of the chairmen of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, passed away in 1865. He is known as the Zayit Ra'anan, after his book.

Unique Features: Copy with especially wide margins, up to 6-7 cm from the text. Ownership signature on the title page.

The part before us was printed during the author's lifetime, and on the last leaf is a list of subscribers from dozens of congregations in Poland. The second part was printed 18 years later, after the author's passing.

Condition: Fine. Aging stains. New binding.
