Group of [5] Photographs with Press Reports Affixed to their Backs - Peel Commission. Land of Israel, 1936-7
Five photographs - Peel Commission and other important events of the 1930s. Four of them were sent as press reports to the editorial staff of newspapers in Europe. Among the photographs: Members of the Peel Commission at the entrance to the Palace Hotel in Mamilla, Jerusalem, with a press report in German; photographs of members of the Peel Commission at Victoria Station in London on their way to the Land of Israel, with a press report in French on the back of the photograph; photograph of Chaim Weizmann, and others.
Average size: Approximately 15x21 cm.
Overall very fine condition.
