New Year's greeting card inscribed by Rabbi Elazar Menachem Man Shach (1898-2001). 12th of Elul, [1987[.
[1] leaf. 9x14 cm. Within an envelope with the rabbi's official stamp.
New Year's card printed with: לשנה טובה תכתבו ותחתמו, מאחל אלעזר מנחם מן שך. Handwritten inscription: לכבוד הרבני הנכבד ד"ר אדלר שיחי' ולכל משפחתו שיחי'.
Inscription written by the rabbi with a black fountain pen. Address on the back of the envelope, 'Dr. Adler and family, London' [in Hebrew[.
This postcard was apparently sent to Dr. Shlomo Adler, 'the doctor of Torah giants in Europe' who merited to service many prominent rabbis and admors. He passed away in London in 2010.
Postcard and envelope in excellent condition.
