* Recommendation letter from Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer av"d Slutzk and Rosh Yeshiva Eitz Chaim given to the son of Rabbi Shlomo Fried of Vilna. Rabbi Shlomo Fried was the son of Chaim Hillel Fried of Volozhin, a grandson of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin. Letter dated [1926].
* Letter from Rebbetzin Baila Hinda Meltzer to the Va'ad HaKlali to give those from Chevron their budget. Rebbetzin Baila Hinda was the daughter of Rabbi Shraga Feivel Frank of Kovno. At the age of 22, she married Rabbi Isser Zalman and she served him her entire life. She was well-educated in Torah, and she wrote and copied the novellae in her husband's "Even HaEzel" in her nice handwriting.
