Ledger with four fundraising letters for 'Shmuel Ibn Danan' – travelling fundraiser for the Talmud Torah HaKlali and Chinuch Yetomim in Tiberias, headed by Rabbi Refael Bibas, who travelled to cities in Morocco, Algeria and Tunis. Most from 1924.
The letters were signed by Casablanca Rabbis: Moshe Meir Chai Elyakim, Avraham Abuchatzeira, Avraham Yifrach, Dovid Adhan. Rabbis of Salé and Rabat: Refael Buchzoba[?], Chaim Refael Atiya, Refael Yosef Ibn Atar, Chaim Yekusiel Berdugo. Meknes Rabbis: Yaakov Toledano, Yehoshua Berdugo and Avraham Amar. The documents feature elegant script by expert scribes.
Bound with: 10 leaves with beautiful, Sephardic script signed by Tiberias rabbis (the rest of the leaves are blank, blemished binding).
