Likutei Amarim by Rabbi Dov Ber Mezerich; Every ma'amar opens with a Torah verse that is then explained according to chassidut and kabala.
Rabbi Dov Ber, the Maggid [preacher] of Mezerich (1710-1772) was a primary disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. According to tradition, he was the one who was appointed to succeed his great teacher. Many tales are told about his sanctity and genius. He had a tremendous impact on the Chassidic movement and many of his disciples became famed rabbis and admors. Though he never wrote any works, his Torah was recorded and printed by his disciples. This book was arranged during his life time and under his supervision, it was first published in Korzec in [1781].
