8, [4], 9-12, 21-84 leaves. 19 cm. On page 62 is a very long handwritten kabbalistic comment.
Rabbi Natan Shapira was a rabbi in Poland and one of the greatest Ashkenazi kabbalists. He immigrated to Jerusalem and was sent from there as an emissary to Italy. He died in 1666. This book presents his method for donning phylacteries according to Rashi and Rabeinu Tam, both together.
New binding. Artistic restoration on the first three pages, especially in the margins. Fine-very fine condition.
