Mishne Torah L'Rambam, Amsterdam, 1701. First section [Mada, Ahava, Zemanim].
Section one [of four sections]. The most proofread edition of the Rambam's works, that served as the paradigm for most later editions. An additional title page and three-paged Latin preface, approbations of the Rabbis of Amsterdam, illustrations related to the laws of Shabbat, sukka, and kiddush hachodesh - concentrated in the first leaves.
[11] 327, [7] 49 leaves.
Original, nice leather binding with gilt title and embossing on the spine, peeling. Aging stains. Worming marks on the bottom of some pages, not affecting text.
Moderate-fine condition.
