Chassidic-Kabbalistic sefer Tehillim, with two precious and important commentaries, "Etz HaDa'at HaTov" by R' Chaim Vital, whose manuscript was in the author's home ... the Admo"r shlit"a of Gur, " and Sefat Emet by ... R' Yehudah Aryeh Leib ... ztzuk"l of Gur." Pietrkov, 1926.
Owner's inscription on the title page: 'Hashem has gifted me with this Tehillim ... may He grant me the merit of understanding its sacred words, Chaim Elazar Alter, grandson of the sacred author, the Sefat Emet ztzuk"l ...'
This sefer was published with the initiative of the Admo"r of Gur, the author of Imrei Emet, son of the Admo"r, the author of Sefat Emet, who wrote in the sacred letter appearing at the beginning of this sefer: "I am sending this to you from the writings of my father ztz"l - compilations on Tehillim - what was not printed in Sefat Emet. In my opinion, it is appropriate to print it together with .... HaChai' on Tehillim according to the simple understanding of Rabbi Chaim Vital's writings, that I have in his manuscript." Later on in the approbation, he quotes what he heard from his father, the 'Sefat Emet' regarding Rabbi Chaim Vital's writings in pshat - that they are "beloved on High." The Admo"r also transferred Rabbi Chaim Vital's manuscript that was in his possession to be printed.
