Chumashim Tikkun Sofrim - Chamishah Chumshei Torah with the haftarot and an English translation. London, 1824. The original four English leather volumes with gilt imprints and the inscription "Selina Hendricks."
Set of elegantly printed chumashim with a copperplate illustration on the title page. The English translation is printed on facing pages in two columns, with comments in English printed across the width of the page under the translation. The haftarot are printed at the end of each volume with an English translation.
Each volume opens with two title pages. The first is a copperplate rendition of biblical scenes, and the second is a title page in English (in Chumash Bereishit, there is an illustrated title page followed by a half-title page in Hebrew and in English, without an additional English title page).
Four volumes; lacking chumash Bamidbar. 21 cm.
