Evel Kaved Zeh - memorial ceremony and prayers in the Trieste synagogue for Kaiser Franz of the Holy Roman Empire and Emperor of Austria. The book was printed on March 18th, 1835, about two weeks after the emperor's death. Complete copy. Rare. (The entry in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book is according to an incomplete copy from a private library.)
Italian title: .. Escquie e preci per l’anima di... Francesco Primo... da recitarsi nel Tempio Maggiore... nella sera del di 18 marzo 1835 per disposizione della Comunita Israelitica di Trieste rappresentata dagl’attuali capi... J. V. Minerbi, A. Almeda.
Includes an elegy comprised of 11 stanzas about the passing of Francis I, in which he is called "tzaddik." The names of both his parents are mentioned, as well as that of his son and successor, Ferdinand. There are also chapters of Psalms, biblical verses and a supplication, in Italian translation.
