Black marker on paper. 77 caricatures drawn by the artist Gershon Appel intended mainly for publication in the newspaper Davar. The drawings portray with charm and humor life in Israel and in the World regarding hot topics. Depicts wars, political parties, satire about the reality in Israel during those years. The artist penciled in the name of the work and date and location in the newspaper. Some of the works have corrections and erasing by the artist. Very fine condition.
