According to the Slovakian website (https://www.webumenia.sk/ ) Webumenia - an on-line catalog of artworks from the collections of Slovak galleries registered in the Central Register of Artworks - this identical print, exactly alike and similar in every detail, was signed in Hungarian "Kron Jenő" bottom right.
The Period is 1926-1937, an early piece of the artist.
Hence, although the aquatint we offer is signed and titled in Italian, the plate / art itself was created much earlier, in the 1920s-1930s, during Jenő Kron's Hungarian period.
Some copies were printed during Kron's time in Hungary, while others later, in Italy., in a very limited series of 15 copies.
However, the plate and the art are related the artist's early creation in Hungary.
