A unique and intriguing book: Plioat Chochma - Drohobitsch, 1889 - single edition - includes scientific-Torah diagrams

"The Book of Wonders of Wisdom: in which there are two parts. The first part "Lashon Zahav" reveals the essence of the 22 letters of the Torah and their sounds and shapes and the pronunciation of the letters and the dots... and the quality of its relations in all parts of creation according to the wisdom of nature and the order of their soul in the words of the Kabbalists... through the progression of [Seventy] tongues and their writings".

"Part two - "Sharsherot Zahav"... in the order of Alef Beit... in the depth of the language the roots branch off from each other according to their foundations, and a passage opens ... by way of distinguishing the difference of the names of the synonyms... and will show The truth of the wisdom of the Sages in the holy language ... from me Yehoshua Falk Zev Av Beit Din Faltschan".

At the bottom of the title page written in handwriting (the author?):  "מחירו ששה פראנק". Number of signatures on the first pages of the book.

At the beginning of the book is a long punctuated poem by the author, who actually wrote a riddle, and its solution is on the next page.

The book includes articles, tables, charts, explanations in Latin, and more. Among the interesting chapters: 'The Gateway to the Aramaic Language', in which the author proves that this language "is nothing but a corruption of the Hebrew language as a whole".

Then there is a chapter in which 'all the foreign words in the Zohar that testify to the antecedents of the Zohar'.

The author was a genius in the Torah and exceedingly God-fearing, and was concerned that there might be some readers who resented the fact that he combined science and research, etc., in his book, so he added a preface, which is a kind of apology and a demand for deepening and patience towards his book, and among other things he writes in it: "My books It is profound in study, and those who see it from afar will be surprised to see in it grammar and movements that our people, the people of awe and Hasidism, are not accustomed to, and also when they see that other foreign letter forms have been brought into it and will ask, 'are you for us or against us?', but when they go to it and pay attention to it, then they will find in it a blessing, awe, and faith ".

"ספר פליאות חכמה: ובו שני חלקים. חלק ראשון לשון זהב, מגלה צפונות בעצם כב אותיות התורה וקולותיהם וצורותיהם ומבטא האותיות והנקודות ... ואיכות יחוסם בכל חלקי הבריאה ע"פ חכמת הטבע וסדר נר"ן [נפש רוח נשמה] שבדברי המקובלים ... דרך השתלשלות ע’ [שבעים] לשון וכתביהם".

בתחתית השער נכתב בכתב יד (המחבר?): "מחירו ששה פראנק". מספר חתימות בדפים הראשונים בספר.

בתחילת הספר שיר מנוקד ארוך מאת המחבר, שהוא למעשה כתב חידה, ופתרונו בדף הבא.

הספר כולל מאמרים, טבלאות, תרשימים, הסברים בלטינית, ועוד. בין הפרקים המעניינים: 'שער לשון ארמית', בו מוכיח המחבר ששפה זו "אינה אלא השתבשות לשון עברית רובה ככולה".

אחר כך יש פרק ובו 'כל מילות הזרות שבזוהר המעידות על קדמות הזוהר'.

המחבר היה גאון בתורה ומופלג ביראת שמים, וחשש שעשויים להיות קוראים דלא-מעלי שירננו על כך ששילב בספרו מדע ומחקר וכו', ולכן הוסיף הקדמה 'את אחי אנוכי מבקש' שהיא מעין התנצלות ודרישת העמקה וסבלנות כלפי ספרו, ובין היתר כותב בה: "ספרי הוא עמוק העיון, והרואה אותו מרחוק יתפלא בראות בו דקדוק ותנועות אשר לא הורגלו בו אנשינו אנשי היראה והחסידות, וק"ו בראותם שהובאו בו עוד צורות אותיות זרות וישאל 'הלנו אתה אם לצרינו' אבל כשילכו אליו ושימו לב עליו אז ימצאו בו ברכה ויראה ואמונה".
