This work before us is one of the most important books of halachic psikah on the subject of Isur VaHeter, in the edition before us the printers erred in writing that the author of the work was Rabbi Yona author of the Sha'arei Teshuvah. Indeed, they were in error and the author was Rabbeinu Yona of Regensburg, the talmid of the author of the Trumat Hadeshen.
